General Gunsmithing Rates

Our general gunsmithing services are built on precision, transparency, and reliability. From diagnostics to repair, every firearm is evaluated and serviced with the attention it deserves.

Diagnostic Service Bench Fee

$150 Flat Rate

 We do not charge hourly for diagnostics. For a flat fee of $150, we provide a thorough evaluation to identify any issues with your firearm.


All diagnostic time and related costs (such as ammunition, magazines, or batteries) are itemized. Any unused portion of the diagnostic fee is credited toward repair labor if you choose to proceed.


Diagnostic fees are issued as store credit applicable to repair labor only.

Gunsmithing Bench Rate

$100 Per Hour

Our general labor rate covers all hands-on work performed on your firearm. Total project cost will vary depending on the type and complexity of services required.


Labor is billed in increments rounded UP to the nearest half hour.

For example:

  • 1 hour and 23 minutes of work would be billed as 1.5 hours ($150) 
  • 1 hour and 48 minutes of work would be billed as 2 hours ($200)

Firearm Cleaning

Whether you just had a full family range day, or you’ve got a safe princess in need of some solvent therapy, we’re here to handle the dirty work. Our cleaning service includes a detailed disassembly, firearm-safe solvent treatment, ultrasonic cleaning of small components, optic glass cleaning, proper lubrication, and full reassembly. During the process, each part is carefully inspected to give you an accurate assessment of your firearm’s overall condition.

General Flat Rate Gunsmithing Services

While most of our work is billed hourly, we offer flat-rate pricing on select common gunsmithing services. These services are price per firearm. See below for details.

Optics and Sighting

None-Precision Optic Installation

$40

Mounting of non-precision optics such as red dots on handguns and rifles. All fasteners are properly torqued and secured with threadlocker to prevent movement.
Note: Required mounting plates or hardware are not included.

Handgun Iron Sight Install - Bare Slide

$30

Installation of iron sights on a stripped slide. Includes laser bore sight alignment for optimal initial zero.

Laser Bore Sight**

$5

Uses precision laser tools to align your optic with the bore for an initial zero.
**Included at no additional cost with all optic and sight installation services.

Scope Mounting & Leveling

$60

Installation of precision optics, including scope mounting, ring alignment/lapping (if applicable), reticle leveling, and proper torque of all fasteners with threadlocker.

Handgun Iron Sight Install - Removal Required

$40

Removal of existing sights and installation of new iron sights. Includes laser bore sight alignment.

Live Fire Zero

$20

Fine-tuning of your optic using live ammunition for maximum accuracy. This fee applies to each optic being zeroed.
Note: Final zero may vary slightly based on individual shooter characteristics and preferences.

Pre-Sale / Pre-Purchase Services

Inspection & Valuation

$40

Comprehensive inspection of firearm condition, serial number verification, and a market-based valuation. Ideal for private party sales or purchases.

We provide what we call our "GunFax" report which will provide you with an in depth review of our inspection.
